We investigate the possibility of using physical layer security as a new mean of securing data during transmission. We particularly look into the identification of the Direction of Arrival of reflection patterns in a NLOS channels as part of the process to generate encryption keys. For this purpose we make use of the MUSIC algorithm. Our results show that it is possible to make use of this scheme when working in different sub-frequency ranges, but the use of MUSIC is faced with a number of setbacks.
