In this work, we consider the downlink transmission of a multiuser system. Both the Single Input Single Output (SISO) and Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) antenna systems between the base station (BS) and the mobile user (MU) are implemented. Different users with different quality of services (QoS) requirements are multiplexed using orthogonal Space Division Multiple Access (SDMA) technique. We present a subcarrier sorting scheme based on capacity maximization, which sort the subcarriers based on the geometic mean (GM) of the two eigen channels. For the realization of different QoS among different users, the bit rates and powers of subcarriers are adapted to different channel conditions with different margin separations.
